As a digital media specialist I’ve been impressed at how the UFC has managed to quickly deploy itsdigital assets to so many mediums so quickly after production. These are things the typical viewer won;t notice, but if you are a digital media nerd like myself, you are seeing how many websites, apps, televesion stations, advertisements, etc these assets are being deployed to.
It turns out there’s an IBM technology known as Aspera, and this is what the UFC uses. Aspera securely transfers ungodly volumes of data across the web for UFC and other clients. Just something interesting to note.
